Life is Good in Boston June 20th on the Common

What makes the Life is good® June 20th event in Boston unique is that there is no other place people can go for on a summer day with their friends & family that features live entertainment from top music performers, activities and games for all ages, classic backyard style food and more- with the entire day FREE!

The live music alone is worth going for to this entertaining event, featuring top performers from The Blind Boys of Alabama (Winner of five Grammy Awards and recipient of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009), Brett Dennen (Rolling Stone named Brett one of its “Top Ten Artists to Watch” last year, and his 2009 success supports the prediction), and family-favorite SteveSongs (winner of numerous prestigious awards, including two Parents’ Choice Gold Awards, an iParenting Media Award, and a Children’s Music Web Award).

In addition, Life is good® has just added a high-energy fundraising walk to their annual festival, entitled the Good Walk for Kids. This high-energy fundraising walk is a 3-mile route covering the beautiful Rose Kennedy Greenway and the Harbor Walk’s ocean views. The Good Walk for Kids will kick-off on June 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. and will begin and end on Boston Common, prior to the 11:00 a.m. start of the 2009 Life is good® Festival. All funds raised onsite helping Project Joy continue its essential support of Boston's most vulnerable children.

So where else can people travel to enjoy themselves for an entire day of entertainment, while helping someone less fortunate than themselves at the same time? Over the past six years, Life is good® has attracted more than 375,000 people and raised over $3 million for children in need through its nationally-known festivals.
